Planning Obligations SPD Re-Consultation

During November 2007 Torridge District Council started consultation on the draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on
Planning Obligations. The Draft Planning Obligations SPD sets out in a comprehensive manner the District Council’s approach,
policies and procedures in respect of planning obligations.
The consultation ran from Thursday November 8 to Friday 21 December. Since then officers and Members have been considering
the detail of responses received. The affordable housing section of the document generated the most response and in relation
to comments received the District Council is now undertaking a further six week consultation period on redrafted Affordable
Housing and Viability sections.
Comments are invited on the SPD during the period Thursday 17th April to Friday 30 May.
