The Consultation Portal offers the opportunity to get involved with consultation events held by the Council. The consultation portal is currently used to support the preparation of planning policy and the Local Development Framework
(LDF). Further information on planning policy and the Local Development Framework (LDF) can be found on the Council website.
Consultation events can take the form of asking for comments on documents, questionnaires and surveys or forums and bulletin
boards on a given topic. You will find all of the available consultation events listed at the foot of this welcome page. You
can search the entire Consultation Portal using the 'Search' box above or else you can also search for Comments, Consultees
and Agents by clicking on 'Who Said What?' above.
Joint North Devon and Torridge Core Strategy - Pre-publication Consultation

North Devon Council and Torridge District Council are consulting on the pre-publication draft of the joint North Devon and Torridge Core Strategy and would like to invite you to have your say. The public consultation will run for six weeks from 21st January to 15th March 2010.

It is possible that to take part in some of the opportunities to get involved you will need to register or log in as a user of this portal. This is particularly common for Local Development Framework consultations as it is often a requirement of planning legislation that the Council needs to know who is making comments. It is likely that your name, possibly the town where you live or work and your comments will be available for the public to view. Information on what aspects of your submission will be made available to the public to view will be displayed alongside any opportunity to get involved ensuring that you are informed from the start.
